These terms govern your use of the JASARA Crisis mobile application provided by JASARA Project Management Company. By signing in, you agree to them. Please read the section on emergencies first: the app supports the organisation's response team; it does not replace the emergency services.
1. Emergencies
If you are in immediate danger, contact the national emergency services first. A request raised through the app alerts the organisation's response team; how quickly they can reach you depends on their location, the situation and the availability of network coverage on your device. The app requires a working internet connection to send a request, and it will tell you when it is offline.
2. Who may use the app
The app is for employees and authorised personnel of JASARA Project Management Company who have been issued an account by the organisation. You cannot create an account from the app. Access may be withdrawn at any time, for example when employment ends.
3. What the app is for
- Raising a request for help by choosing an incident type and, optionally, adding a description, your location and a contact number.
- Tracking the status of your requests and standing one down if it was a false alarm.
- Receiving safety alerts sent by the organisation and answering them.
- Viewing the organisation's emergency hotline and your own profile.
The organisation may change, add or remove features over time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- use the app only for genuine safety needs, and to stand down a request promptly if help is no longer needed;
- not raise false or misleading reports, which may delay help to others and may be dealt with under the organisation's disciplinary procedures;
- not share your account, and to tell your HSE administrator at once if you believe someone else has used it;
- not attempt to access other employees' information, interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer the app.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Signing out of the app ends your session on that device. The organisation may suspend or remove access to protect the service or other users.
6. Availability
The organisation aims to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee it: maintenance, network conditions on your device, and events outside the organisation's control can interrupt it. When the app cannot reach the server it says so; use the emergency hotline or the emergency services instead.
7. Ownership
The app, its design, and the JASARA name and marks are the property of JASARA Project Management Company or its licensors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose while you remain authorised. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no obligations in relation to the app.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, the organisation is not liable for loss arising from your inability to use the app, from inaccurate information you provide, or from network or device failures outside its control.
Legal review required: limitation of liability wording appropriate to the governing law
9. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Legal review required: governing law and competent courts. The organisation may update these terms; the effective date appears at the top of this page, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
